Brianne Leary
PawPlunger Creator and Co-Inventor
Brianne Leary's unusual career path has taken her from Hollywood, to Afghanistan to New York City, from actress to war correspondent to writer and now, inventor!
If you're a pet lover you may know her as the host of the long running Animal Planet series Petsburgh. Brianne's love of animals on camera and off is why she created the PawPlunger®!
Living in New York City, where all dogs are indoor dogs, Brianne found it impossible to keep her apartment clean after her Wheaton Terrier, LuLu, came bounding in from her walks in Central Park.
Brianne is a firm believer that a dog should have the run of the house but not run the house. With that in mind, she came up with the idea of an easy, safe quick way to clean LuLu's paws before her prints became part of the décor!
Andrew D. Taylor
PawPlunger Co-InventorAndy is a master carpenter with over 23 years of experience and is known as "The Real MacGyver" to his family and friends. Taylor is a self-taught fixer of things since age 10 when, curious, he took apart his mother’s toaster just to see how it worked. Yes, he masterfully put it back together! In his spare time between inventions and carpentry work, Andy is building a 1700 sq. foot addition he
designed onto his home in Farmington, Connecticut.
Andy is married to Joy and they have two children, Lindsay and Nate. Their dog, Rocky, explores the woods around their home and was one of the first testers of the PawPlunger. Incidentally, the catchy name, "PawPlunger", was Andy's idea.
